Colourpop Ultra Matte Lips Review

Hello Beauty Babes!

Before I begin my very first blog post, I just wanted to say Happy New Years to you all! I am excited about this New Year because I have been in the process of creating this blog. I’ve always wanted to start a blog and feel like there is no better time than now! I hope you enjoy 🙂

For my first review I will be talking about the ‘Colourpop Ultra Matte Lips’ ColourPop. Matte lipsticks and liquid lipsticks have been my addiction lately. I have actually never ordered from Colourpop and with everyone raving about their products I had to see for myself. I got the ‘Foxy Mini Kit’, which contains five of their best selling lips in the colors Tulle, More Better, Creeper, Clueless, and Beeper. I also got a full sized product of the color “Midi”.

Swatches from top to bottom (Midi, Beeper, Clueless, Creeper, More Better, Tulle). First Picture is without flash, second is with.

I have to say that these colors are simply gorgeous! The color pay off is amazing and at such a great price ($6 for full sized, $20 for the Mini Kit). However, I have to say I am a little disappointed at how dry they are. Being that these are matte shades I knew to expect dryness. These dry almost instantly so I recommend moisturizing and exfoliating the lips before applying. Other than that I can’t complain much, they offer a wide selection of beautiful colors! I love ‘Midi’, such a beautiful perfect nude beige color (photo below).

All in all I say give them a try! What do you guys think? Leave comments or suggestions on anything you would like to see in my future posts! Goodnight everyone!
