Hi everyone, Welcome back! Today I have an exciting Sephora gratis haul! I work at Sephora and we get what’s called ‘Gratis’ every few weeks, which are products that brands give us to try so we can better assist our clients. I was really excited about the gratis I got and wanted to share with you all.
So the first thing I noticed was the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette ($54), which I’ve had my eye on for some time now. This palette is beyond gorgeous! The shades are very rosy toned and a mix of shimmery and matte, which I love! There are 12 colors in the Naked 3 and it also comes with a synthetic dual-ended blending and flat brush, which is essential when applying eyeshadow.
The next thing that caught my eye was the Kat Von D everlasting liquid lipstick in the shade ‘Lolita II’ ($20). I’m obsessed with the Kat von D liquid lipsticks and have been dying to get this shade (thanks to my amazing co-worker Sam<3). Lolita II is a terra-cotta nude shade, I am in LOVE with this shade. These are matte and will stay on all day. I will drool at the sight of new colors! Kat Von D also threw in one of the ‘Trooper liquid eyeliner pencils, which I love! Interesting fact, this eyeliner contains 300 brush hairs which together create precision for great application.
‘Lolita II’ without flash and with flash.
I will quickly go over the rest briefly as I have yet to try some of these products, but please let me know if you would like to see more in depth reviews on any of these items.
Nirvana Dry Shampoo ($14 for 1.3 oz, $28 for 4.4 oz)
I love this scent. The Nirvana by Elizabeth and James fragrances are LIFE! I love Nirvana Black, one of my favorite, it is so unique with a musky scent to it. It contains violet, vanilla, and sandalwood. I love that they didn’t just stick to fragrance but also went off to create dry shampoos, oils and more.
Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Replenishing Shampoo & Conditioner($32)
This is a very nice shampoo & conditioner that restores moisture to damage hair. These are sulfate-free. I’d recommend to anyone with dry or color treated hair.
Tatcha Luminous Deep Hydration Firming serum($95) and Luminous dewy skin mist ($48)
Wow is this stuff expensive! Paraben and sulfate free. Some unique ingredients include green tea, rice bran oil, and red algae. The serum can be used for skincare benefits as well as a primer. The dewy skin mist gives a glow to the skin and can be used before as a primer or spray some on after your makeup for a nice glow. Haven’t tried these yet, but have heard great things about the tatcha brand.
Tartelette Tease Palette ($21)
This mini palette is a tease! You get 6 gorgeous shades, 4 of them matte and the other 2 shimmery shades. This kit is perfect for traveling.
Fix It 2-In-1 Prime & Conceal($36)
Have any of you guys tried this? I have never and was a bit confused as to what exactly it does when I first saw it. Apparently this is a multi-purpose concealer that not only conceals but also primes and color corrects and evens out completion of the skin. You can actually use this for face, eyes and lips. Definitely excited to try this out.
Marc Jacobs Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate ($55)
This is a matte, full cover, oil-free foundation. I actually already tried this once and found the color to be very pigmented as well as easily blend-able. I love the dot-on applicator because it can be easy to over use and I feel like you really only need a few drops (3 to 4) with this foundation since it is full coverage.
CLINIQUE Sweet Pots Sugar Scrub & Lip Balm (19.50)
These cute two in one lip moisturizers contain on one side a lip scrub and the other a tinted lip balm. I got the shade ‘black honey’, which I have yet to try but will be slapping some on right before bed. The scrub doesn’t look like it would exfoliate much but lets see.
GLAMGLOW FLASHMUD Brightening Treatment ($69)
I have to admit Im not crazy about the Glam Glow lines as many rave about. Ive tried the ‘Glam Glow Hydrating treatment’ before being that I have dry skin and while it may have hydrated my face well it still didn’t wow me, maybe I should give it another shot. I am always interested in trying new things and keeping my mind open to new products. This is suppose to be a brightening treatment so I am definitely excited to try this one out.
Finally, I hope you all enjoyed this post. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to comment below or contact. Keep an eye out for my next post, will be posting every day this week! 🙂
